Twenty years. Even writing that feels a little surreal.

On 16th September 2006, Hot Tubs At Home began.

We couldn’t possibly have known then what the next two decades would bring — the highs, the lows, the lessons, the challenges, the people we would meet, or quite how many hot tubs we would end up delivering along the way.

What we did know was that we wanted to build a business we could be proud of.

And twenty years later, we’re still here.

From a small business to our Hot Tubs At Home family

A lot has changed since 2006.

Our showroom has changed. Hot tubs have changed. Technology has changed. The industry has changed. We’ve grown, rebuilt, adapted and probably learned more lessons the hard way than we’d care to count.

But some things haven’t changed at all.

We’re still an independent, family-run business. We still believe that looking after somebody after they’ve bought their hot tub matters just as much as selling it to them in the first place. And we’re still fortunate enough to have customers who come back to us years later — sometimes for their second, third or even fourth spa.

Over twenty years, those relationships have become a huge part of Hot Tubs At Home.

Customers have become familiar faces. Some have become friends. We’ve watched families grow, moved hot tubs from one home to another, replaced well-loved spas after many years of use and welcomed generations of the same families through our showroom doors.

That’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

Twenty years takes a team

Hot Tubs At Home has never just been the two of us.

Behind every delivery, service visit, showroom appointment, phone call and slightly complicated hot-tub move is a team of people who have helped make this business what it is.

Some have been alongside us for a remarkable number of those twenty years. Others have joined the story more recently. Every one of them has played their part.

We’ve also worked with some brilliant suppliers, tradespeople and business partners along the way — people who have answered emergency phone calls, solved problems, moved impossible things into impossible gardens and generally helped us keep the wheels turning.

Running a small business is very rarely a straight line.

There have been wonderful years and incredibly difficult ones. We’ve faced recessions, a pandemic, rising costs, changing markets and all the usual challenges that come with keeping a business alive for two decades.

There have certainly been moments when it would have been easier to stop.

But we didn’t.

We adapted. We trusted each other. We kept working. And somehow, year after year, we kept moving forward.

Celebrating with the people who made it possible

This weekend, we’re marking our 20th anniversary at our showroom with customers, friends, family, our team and some of the people who have been part of our journey.

There’ll be food, music, bubbles, prizes and plenty of celebrating.

But underneath all of that is something much simpler.

It’s a chance for us to say thank you.

• To every customer who has trusted us with their purchase.
• To everyone who has recommended us to a friend or family member.
• To the customers who have returned years later.
• To the people who leave us lovely reviews, tag us in photographs, pop into the showroom for a chat and continue to support an independent family business.
• To our suppliers, partners, friends and families.
• And, of course, to our team.

You are all part of these twenty years.

Here’s to the next chapter

Twenty years ago, we were simply trying to build a good business.

We couldn’t have imagined everything that Hot Tubs At Home would become, or how much of our lives would be wrapped up in it.

Today, we get to look around at what we’ve built and say:

We made it. Twenty years.

And we’re enormously proud of that.

So here’s to everything that got us here, everyone who has been part of the story — and whatever comes next.
